Once again this years Duke Blue Devils are completely stacked. Landing the #1, #3, #10, and many other prospects within ESPN top's 100 they are ready to take on the country's best. Harry Giles (Oak Hill, VA), Jayson Tatum (Chaminade Prep, MO), and Frank Jackson (Lone Peak High School, UT) are the teams future stars. These guys can do it all. Jackson and Tatum can distribute the ball with ease, elevate to the rim, and knock down those long-range jumpers. Giles and Tatum attack the glass offensively and defensively, can work in the post, and rack up boards.
This trio of stars is also aided by more incoming freshmen including Javin Delaurier and stand-out center Marques Bolden. These two big men will add an additional height to the towering lineup ahead. Stacking up against rival teams Kentucky and North Carolina, Duke seems to be a definite threat in this years tournament in March.
Duke still has Allen, Kennard, and Jefferson going into the 2016-17 season, so there is still solid foundation to a dominate team. Krzyzweski and company look like National Championship canidate this year. These players will be able to fix the defensive lapses and the lack of accurate outside shooting. It'll be a promsing season for sure.
